Bird’s Eye Review: The Vegan Kind May #TVK19

Another month, another late review of The Vegan Kind subscription box. This month, as usual had some great products but I didn’t like them all.  Check out my review below to see what my thoughts were.

Chika’s Chilli Plantain Crisps 35g (RRP £1.39)

These Plantain crisps were surprisingly yummy. Very crispy and the right level of sweet chilli flavour. @chikasfoods

Sarelle Hazelnut & Dark Chocolate Cream Filled Wafer 33g (RRP £0.75)

These wafers from Sarelle were indeed rather tasty.  A lovely light covering of chocolate and tasty hazelnut cream filling. `Would definitely purchase this little sweet treat.  @dolfin_uk
Ecobamboo Medium Toothbrush with Round Handle 0.03kg (RRP £4.00)

I love the idea of a vegan and eco-friendly toothbrush and this one was rather nice to use.  The wooden handle feels comfortable in the hand and it definitely did the job although I would prefer a firmer brush but this is probably personal preference.  @ECOBAMBOOPL

Olive Branch Mezze Sundried Tomato Paste 190g (RRP £2.99)

I’ve not gotten around to trying this bad boy but so far I have liked every Olive Branch product that I have tasted. I look forward to trying this on homemade pizza and in pasta dishes.  @OliveBranchFood

Good Full Stop Fruit and Nut Based Mint Chocolate Bar 35g (RRP £0.99)

Another box, another bar but I have to say this was not my favourite. I really didn’t like the extra minty taste and it was just not chocolatey enough for my sweet  @goodfullstop

Taking The Pea Sweet Chilli Salsa 40g (RRP £1.50)

Probably my favourite product in the May box, these Sweet Chilli Salsa flavoured peas were deliciously crunchy and incredibly moorish.  I ate the lot in one sitting. Oops!  @Takingthepea

All in all, not my favourite box but still a solid effort with some great snack options.

Let me know your favourite products from The Vegan Kind boxes this year.

Thanks for reading.
