Bird’s Eye Review: The Vegan Kind Box February 15

IMG_1259 Superfoods, nostalgic snacks, mystery powders and cruelty-free skincare are the name of the game in the February Vegan Kind box. Here is my review of what was inside.

Freedom Mallows Choc Dip 62g (RRP £2.49)

IMG_1270Yum Yum Yum. This reminded me of the old school KP Choc dips that came in those little blue pots and contained some little biscuits and a rather synthetic tasting chocolate sauce. These Freedom Mallow Choc dips were far superior.  My only complaint would be not enough marshmallows. www.freedommallows.com  | @freedommallows

Supernutrients Banana Powder 150g (RRP £4)

IMG_1267

Slightly confused about how to use this banana powder but upon further investigation, it is used to add to meals and drinks such as smoothies, porridge, cereals etc to gain extra benefits. However, I’m not sure the difference between this and eating a banana. Will need to investigate some more. www.supernutrients.co.uk  | @super_nutrients

FitBites 50g (RRP £2.30)

Wasn’t expecting to like these as much as I did but thought they were pretty yummy. Nice clean ingredients with just dried fruit, nuts, seeds and maca powder. They tasted really satisfying.

CoFresh Sour Cream and Chive Quinoa Chips 80g (RRP £1.79)

IMG_1264I love the Eat Real CoFresh Crisps range and these Sour Cream and Chive Quinoa chips are another triumph. The perfect accompaniment to our Sunday Toasted Violife Cheese sandwiches. www.cofresh.co.uk | www.facebook.com/CofreshSnackFoods

White Rabbit Skincare Toning Eye Cream 15ml (RRP £8.00)

IMG_1273

I have been keen to try White Rabbit products ever since I had first heard about them and as I am always on the look out for a good eye cream, I was happy to see this in the February box.  The consistency is smooth and creamy and it had a barely there delicate smell. It’s a bit soon to see the benefits but so far it has been nice to use. www.etsy.com/uk/shop/WhiteRabbitSkincare | @whiterabbitsc

I would love to hear if you have a Vegan Kind subscription and what your favourite products have been so far.
