Bird’s Eye Review: Vegan Life Magazine Issue 2

The November/December issue of Vegan Life magazine brings with it all kinds of vegan surprises.  I love the Christmas feel and found the guide to a Cruelty-Free Christmas rather useful.  This is my third Christmas as a vegan now and it is definitely getting easier and easier but is always helpful to hear about new approaches and to find some new recipe ideas besides the usual Nut Roast or Tofurkey options (not that I’m knocking either of them – yum!).  Personally, I can’t wait to try the Brownie Nut Butter cups.

The article on dairy milk alternatives is well worth a read. As these milks are now going mainstream, you can find them in pretty much any supermarket or even some local shops, so it is great to learn more about their different benefits and how they compare.

This issue also deals with the ever eternally asked question from non vegans ‘Where do you get your protein?’, has some great heart warming animal rescue stories and a thought provoking piece on animal experimentation.

I am thoroughly enjoying this magazine as every article is relevant and related to my interests and as well as being entertaining and giving you the latest product news, it is filled with interesting ethical issues that we should all want to learn more about.

You can find the magazine in selected retailers or download a subscription like I have.  Find out more on their website http://veganlifemag.com or on their Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/veganlifemagazine

Thanks for reading.

Hi Morag. That’s great! I love that variety too. I use almond milk in everything now from coffee to porridge to mashed potatoes. No need for dairy. 🙂 Thanks for your comment. Loving your blog by the way. 🙂 x
