Bird’s Eye Review: The Vegan Kind October box

IMG_1016

October’s ‘The Vegan Kind’ box is one of my favourites as I really enjoyed every product I received.  If you’ve not subscribed to this box, I would highly recommend it.  I love being surprised with new, exciting products that are all vegan and let’s face it, who doesn’t like getting post? Here’s this month’s Bird’s Eye Review.

Angelic Gluten Free Double Chocolate Cookies (£2.60)

Tasting a little like a chocolate flavoured rusk (and that’s not a bad thing), these cookies lacked the indulgence of your non vegan double chocolate cookie but they still did the job nicely and I enjoyed them with a nice cup of green tea. (quell surprise there). http://www.angelicglutenfree.co.uk

Landgarten Raspberries in Dark Chocolate (£1.79)

I’m here to tell you that raspberries are the new strawberries and these dark chocolate covered lovelies were super delicious. I really had to stop myself from devouring them all in one go. http://www.landgarten.co.uk

Nom Original Organic Oat Bar (£1.79)

I was very pleasantly surprised with this one as I was expecting it to be ‘another one of those vegan bars but actually it tasted that bit special.  Like a healthier tasting flapjack, the hint of coconut combined with the oats made this extra yum. http://www.nomfoods.co.uk

Howdah Onion Bhaji (Pack of 6, £14.34)

Sooooo good….my boyfriend was very impressed with these.  A cleaner tasting crisp, these were pretty morish and served as the perfect pre dinner snack. http://www.howdahsnacks.co.uk

Premae Trumph Creme Balm (£51)

What an amazing treat.  This moisturiser retails at £51 so was a lovely surprise to receive such an indulgent product.  This creme balms claims to replenish and repair skin and minimise the appearance of wrinkles which I could do with some help with. It is definitely too early to say whether this has made a difference but I have enjoyed using it as its rich consistency slathers nicely onto the skin and immediately made it feel soft. http://premaeskincare.com

Thanks for reading.

  1. Do you do reviews of London vegan shops? I have an opportunity you might be interested in – a new vegan store that has just opened in London selling affordable organic, vegan food. 🙂 Drop me an email for more details. Thanks
