Bird’s Eye Review: Tropic Skincare

IMG_0498

I jumped at the chance to review the all vegan, all natural Tropic Skincare range. Created by ex-Apprentice Finalist, Susan Ma, Tropic focuses on products that are derived from 100% pure plant extracts.

The Smoothing Cleaner comes with an organic bamboo cloth.  Directions are to smooth the cream on to a dry face and then dampen the cloth to wipe off which cleansers and exfoliates the skin at the same time.  With Green Tea Extract, Vitamin E and moisturising Jojoba, this product was gentle on my skin and smelt great.  It was also successful in taking off my many layers of make-up, including the challenge of my liquid eye liner so I was impressed.

I found the Vitamin Toner to be light and refreshing and loved the natural ingredients and pleasing rosewater scent. This took off the last remnants of any make-up and left my skin feeling soft and hydrated.

Next up, is of course, the moisturiser and  the Skin Revive Firming Nourishing Cream was also a delight to use.  Packed with vitamins and natural extracts, this was light and didn’t leave my skin greasy. I haven’t been using it long enough to notice a difference in the elasticity of my skin but fingers crossed.

Finally, the Eye Refresh Roll-on. It claims to de-puff and reduce dark shadows which is something that I have an issue with but again I have not been using it long enough to tell.  It is, however, a delight to use as it really moisturises my under eye area.

I would highly recommend checking out Tropic Skincare and their products.  Their philosophy to use simple, natural ingredients really resinates well with me. I embrace a plant-based diet so why not a plant-based skincare routine? Their product has now become a permanent part of my skincare ritual.

Stay tuned to my blog within the next few days for an interview with one of the Ambassadors from Tropic Skincare to find out more about the company, their values and wonderful products.

Thanks for reading.
