Bird’s Eye Review: The Frank Food Company

After my boyfriend may have ‘accidentally’ eaten one of my products from the July The Vegan Kind box, I think he felt a little guilty so ordered 20 of them. Now, there’s how to make up for your mistakes!

Frank Snack bars are made with 100% Organic ingredients including dried fruits, fruit juices and oats and are covered with coconut cream chocolate. They are also vegan and gluten free.

These bars are made by the Frank Food company which was started in 2012 by surprisingly enough, a former Everton footballer, Neil Robinson.  As you can imagine, he was interested in health and fitness and was looking to develop a healthy snack made with natural ingredients that tastes amazing.

Well, he certainly achieved his goal. (pardon the pun). These bars have a fudge-like consistency which I loved, with a creamy chocolatey taste and a hint of fruit.

I, so far, have only tried the Strawberry and Blueberry flavours but you can be sure, I will be making my way through the rest and eager to see what else this company will create.

They are currently stocked at Asda as well as the usual health food stores.  We got ours online here:

Let me know if you tried these bars and/or your favourite healthy vegan snack bars.

Thanks for reading.
