Pub Grub review: Coach and Horses

For my boyfriend’s birthday last month, we decided to visit London’s First Vegetarian pub.  A proper traditional English pub with a vegetarian menu.  This place has great reviews and we were certainly not disappointed.

Although, the menu is rather small and the vegan options on the menu were a little limited, everything we had was amazing.  We shared two starters of the standard fave; Humous, crudites and warmed bread which was delish and the more inventive beetroot ravioli which was filled with a yummy cashew cheese. For mains, we both went for the highly recommended Tofush and Chips which consisted of tofu wrapped in seaweed and battered in ale served with minted peas and a sensational avocado tartar sauce. Wowzers trousers!!  This was something else. A slightly ‘fishy’ taste and a mouth watering texture.  The chips were pretty great too.

So, if you can’t tell we were big fans of this place and when we are in need of some comforting, filling dishes, we will be back in a flash.

Thanks for reading.
